I agree 100% with your wife–start a blog about other companies- its about time some of these companies learn that we will not tolerate bad service after we have spent good money!!!!

I am glad that you posted this and will include this in the letter that I now have to Write to World Financial Bank that does the paper work for Levin. I bought furniture from Levin and TRIED to pay it off before the deadline and interest kicked in and…………. they would not take my payment !!!! Told me that I owe nothing !!!!!! Computer glitch !!!!!! Then as you may have guessed, the bill came along with over 398.00 in interest and the rest of the balance. Levin could care less, all calls directed to WFB and as I told her… I think you should be aware the way these people talk and treat your coustomers since you pay fees to them to do so and they could care less.
I am also going to file a complaint with the better business bureau, because I have a ID number of this person, date, and time of the so call pre recored call. They only want to give me 177.00 of that money !!! I want all of my money back and for them to hear me tell this person over and over that I have the furniture and never paid for it. Could go on and on just like this ordeal has, but instead I will thank you for letting me vent and continue my battle with both. Found this while trying to find the phone to the corporate office and I still have not found one yet.

Don’t bother calling corporate office – it is a scam – when I was finally thoroughly disgusted with “Chuck” – I called the corporate office. Guess who they tell you that you have to talk to – you guessed it “Chuck”
I bought a leather reclining loveseat. Had to call for repair ( 3 ) times in 4 months – wanted a replacement – was told absolutely not – the Levin policy according to “Chuckie” is they will continue to fix the brand new loveseat no matter how many times I call.
I too, will never purchase anything from Levin and have pretty much shared that information with everyone I know looking for furniture

Well, about a year ago I purchased a sectional sofa from Levin Furniture in Oakwood village. A few months after receiving it, the foam core in the cushions stared to ware and the fabric was stretching. I called customer service to schedule a repair since it was just a few months old and they scheduled someone to come out. He came, said we needed a new foam core and that he was going to order us a “higher definition core” so we would have another problem. He ordered it took a couple of weeks for it to come it. Here’s where all the problems started. He kept putting delivery dates off becuase he said…”it wont fit in may car, and me bringing you this will take up my whole day and effect my other appointments”. Well, im my eyes, if you make an appointment, you keep it, and dont keep rescheduling because it “wont fit in your car”. Thats not my problem. After patiently waiting a long time, when he finally came to deliver it and he just dropped it off and left….I had to put it in the cushion myself. Well, a few months go by again and the cushion does the same thing….now on the other side of the sectional, its so bad at this point that the springs are poking through the fabric below the cushions because there’s no support. So, I call again and explain the problem. They sent out another tech who came and his final thought was “i dont know what to tell you”. Again, in my eyes YOU ARE THE TECH, i have waited all day for you to tell me this? Clearly this sofa is poorly made, has no support, it needs new cushions, fabric casings for the cushions for being so unstable, and new fabric to replace where THE SPRINGS ARE POPPING THROUGH!!!!! So after me explaining to him what was wrong and showing him he actually understood there was a problem. Again I was assured I’d get a “higher definition foam core”, new cushions, casing and fabric for the springs popping through on the sofa part of the section. Well i wait weeks, the tech told me they would call me when the parts came in….it seemed like a long time so i call again….”well, maam they’ve been here”. WHAT!!!! No one informed me yet again!!! I requested to speak to the customer service supervior (chuck) he proceeded to tell me that they dont even make a “high definition” foam core. So not only was i expecting a better quality “fix”, they dont even offer it and I was lied to twice! I have no more patience as of now. So chuck tells me everything that was ordered (minus my “high def” core) and schedules a another appt. Tech comes again and parts are ordered WRONG. No fabric for where the springs are popping out, which means i cant even use the new cushions because the springs will rip the new cushions like they did the old. I call AGAIN, this tie the showroom…maybe someone will help me, right? Spoke to a lady name Terri who was emailing Paula (chucks boss) all my issues. She assured me paula would call me back asap. Well no call back. Called my original rep Bruce, he seemed to have no answers. He directed me to kyle and Mark (sales manages) and said theyd call me in 2 days. NO call, so I call mark explain my troubles. He said hed call me back, NO CALL. I call again today, he says “no one has contacted you”. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! Still no call back today! I WANT MY MONEY BACK. All the phone calls, hours wasted waiting for the tech to come out on my day off of work and do “nothing”, and time out of my work day spending endless hours on the phone explaining my problem over and OVER again! Please help! This is going over a year now and i just want my sofa fixed and yes, my money back! thats the least they can do for all my time, headaches and NO ANSWERS! Help!

u should try working for them now that sucks but they do pay us pretty good rater work at levin then value city furniture
p.s. stop getting mad at the delivery team its not our fault the furniture sucks

During delivery of a bedroom set from Levin Furniture, I was around the corner while 3 guys were setting up the set….when I heard, “here she comes”….I entered the room and stayed after that suspicious comment. Awhile later I noticed the closet smelled like urine…we have no pets and no kids here. After a few months I remembered the strange comment and am putting 2 and 2 together….this closet had never smelled before and had been freshly painted. We were nice to the delivery guys so I don’t understand what they were doing that they had to be warned that I was about to enter my own bedroom…..

I too have had major problems with Levin, after buying a king size mattress and box springs 6 months ago as of today i’ve had 3 replacement mattresses (last one was an upgrade) and 2 sets of box springs. What’s wrong with this picture, I’m convinced they sell “seconds”! We are in process of getting our money back because i’m sure they don’t want to deal with us again! My 20 year old mattress was better to sleep on than a mattress that slopes in
on both sides ! Do not buy from them, it is a scam! I don’t know where to go to buy furniture that’s reasonable priced?

I want to shout it from the roof tops, I bought a diningroom set in January and not only did it come scratched but everytime I set anything on the table it scratches and dents, their customer service is TERRIBLE I want to return my furninture and they won’t allow it, b/c it’s past the 14 days. They sent a repair man out and not only did they not call ahead, unless you count 10 min before he showed up, when he got here I asked him are you going to fix the scratches, I have the protection plan, and he said “no that would take a lot of work and like 4 hours”….wtf are you doing in my house then? I’ve been fighting with them for 3 weeks, they’ve offered to return 200 dollars and the 250 dollars for the protection plan. I’m not budging I don’t want t piece of crap diningroom set. Sorry I didn’t go with Ethan Allen, it really wasn’t much more. I just like the look of Levin’s set better…..HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Liz….well i bugged enough call corporate, they gave us our money back on our mattress which we got 3 of their crappy things but paid alot of money! I made mistake of buying a couch it looks like crap, they’re repairing it! If it still doesn’t fly, I will again demand my money back , they are no better than roomful express that went out of business! I will definitely be going to Ethan Allen i don’t care what it costs at this point

I AM REALLY FED UP WITH LEVINS. I WILL NEVER BUY THERE AGAIN. I PURCHASED AN $800.00 MATTRESS SET. I WAS TOLD BY THE SALESMAN THAT IF I DIDN’T CARE FOR THE MATTRESS I COULD RETURN IT FOR ANOTHER ONE BUT I HAD TO PURCHASE A $70.00 MATRESS PAD. IF I BOUGHT IT SOMEWHERE ELSE I COULD NOT RETURN THE MATRESS. WELL I BOUGHT THE PAD THINKING THIS WAS TRUE. WELL I PUT THE PAD ON THE BED….PUT THE SHEET ON AND SAT ON THE EDGE OF THE BED….WELL IT SOUNDED LIKE I WAS SITTING ON A PIECE OF PLASTIC AS I WAS GETTING OFF THE BED I NOTICED THE SHEET SLID ALONG WITH MY BUTT. WELL THIS EAS NOT GONNA WORK FOR ME. I TOOK THE PAD BACK TO THE STORE AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS USED AND THEY COULDN’T REFUND MY MONEY. I COULD TRADE IT FOR ANOTHER PAD..WELL THE SALESMAN SAID IF HAD TO BE THIS ONE FOR THE TYPE OF MATTRESS I PURCHASED. THEN THEY TRIED TO GIVE ME AN INSTORE CREDIT. WHAT WOULD I DO WITH A $70.,00 CREDIT? WHAT REALLY GETS ME IS YOU CAN RETURN A USED MATTRESS THAT YOU SLEPT ON FOR 3 MONTHS. MAKES SO SENCE TO ME. HOW ABOUT YOU?

The mattress pad thing is just a scam i believe, i didn’t use the pad only kept it on hand because Levin attaches this cheap pad (throw away) . I am totally convinced from my own experience with a mattress and couch that they sell “seconds”, i believe they recycle these mattress even though they shouldn’t be, I had 3 mattresses and 3 couches from them all have been returned with full refunds on both the couch and mattress. The 3 of each included me exchanging them for defects finally, enough money back went elsewhere! Wouldn’t buy a picture from Levin…ever! and i’ve told everyone i know about the quality of crap they sell
